In August of 2002, the Hawaii Undersea Research Laboratory was conducting deep dives off the entrance of Pearl Harbor when they found the long-missing Japanese midget sub that was involved in the incident with the USS Ward. Chris is considered one of the finest marine biologists in the country. For years, the search was on for the submarine. On that day, the search came to an end. Mr. Kelley was heavily involved as a team member in the search for the midget sub. For this program, he provided video footage and new insights on its discovery.
