Often lost in the history of Pearl Harbor are the civilian workers who manned the military bases during the attack on Oahu. One of them was a young 18-year old named Edward Chun. He was a local boy who saw the tranquility of Pearl Harbor turned into a cauldron of death and destruction. His personal recollections of the attack paint the picture of what happened to the civilian work force on that fateful day.
Speakers: Edward Chun, Naval Shipyard Worker - Mr. Chun was an 18-yeard old navy worker at the Pearl Harbor shipyard. His job was as a pipe fitter. At the time of the attack, he was along the 1010 Dock near the USS Helena and Oglala.
