Arizona Memorial Museum Association
Our Purpose

Hello and welcome to our website.

The Arizona Memorial Museum Association (AMMA), a non-profit organization authorized by Congress, supports the interpretation and related visitor service activities of the National Park Service (NPS) at four sites across the Pacific region.

USS Arizona Memorial - Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
War in the Pacific National Historical Park - Guam
American Memorial Park - Saipan
Kalaupapa National Historic Park - Molokai, Hawaii

AMMA makes interpretive and educational materials available to park visitors by sale through our bookstores, mail order and membership programs. We also support the research, interpretation, and conservation programs of the National Park Service.

Why does the Arizona Memorial Museum Association support these other NPS sites?

Over the years, the association has been invited to participate as a cooperating association in the operation of the bookstores and visitor centers of various national parks by the National Park Service. As the association exists to promote the recognition and appreciation of the sacrifice and courage of ordinary people during extraordinary times, AMMA was eager to help where it could.

What can I do to help AMMA’s mission?

Learn more about AMMA through the information contained on these web pages. We hope to convey what the association is doing now to further the mission and what we hope to accomplish in the future. If you think what we do is worthwhile, please visit our bookstore, become a member of the organization, or donate to the cause of building a new Visitor Center and Museum through the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund.

We hope you enjoy your visit to AMMA’s website and will join us in celebrating the places and, more importantly, the people, who make the National Parks we support so important to a better understanding of history.
